Mission:MathMinds Receives 2025 Rotary Club Community Grant for Third Consecutive Year
Palatine, IL – April 2025 — Mission:MathMinds is honored to announce its selection as a recipient of the 2025 Rotary Club Community Grant, marking the third consecutive year the organization has been recognized for its continued impact in advancing STEM education and empowerment for young girls.
At the recent Rotary Club Allocation Banquet, Founder & CEO Ruby Arun and Board Member Kate McCully accepted the grant on behalf of Mission:MathMinds. The organization was recognized for its innovative programming and measurable contributions to addressing educational inequities and fostering opportunities for girls in mathematics and STEM fields.
"It’s truly great work you continue to do, and it’s a pleasure to support the efforts of Mission:MathMinds," said Randy Klingner, Past Foundation President of the Palatine Rotary Club.
The Rotary Club Community Grant will directly support Mission:MathMinds' core initiatives, including:
Hands-on STEM workshops designed to build early confidence in math
Mentoring programs connecting students with female STEM role models
Expansion of the Mission:MathMinds Research Hub focused on math anxiety solutions
Targeted outreach and educational resources to underserved communities
This sustained support reflects both the dedication of the Mission:MathMinds team and the Rotary Club's commitment to investing in organizations that drive meaningful, systemic change within the community.
"Receiving this grant for a third consecutive year is both a tremendous honor and a testament to the impact of our work," said Ruby Arun. "With the Rotary Club’s partnership, we look forward to expanding our reach, empowering more girls to develop confidence in math, and helping close the gender gap in STEM."
As Mission:MathMinds continues its efforts to equip the next generation of female leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers, this funding will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission and scaling its impact both locally and nationally.
